So I love love love volunteering at the Discovery Museum...for free. Maybe one day I'll get a job there, I applied for one for the summer, but right now I'm happy doing what I'm doing. The atmosphere is great and I feel like I'm learning a lot. About a month ago the Discovery held an event called "Discovery After Dark" for 7th and 8th graders so I volunteered and brought the oldest nephew and his buddy. They had a blast and apparently he's still talking about it! He said he liked the fact that there were no little kids there so he could have more fun...oh 13 year olds.
Two weeks ago I volunteered to do an outside event for the Discovery at the Sparks Marina. Me and another volunteer taught kids how to make paper helicopters and gave out info to the parents. It was really fun and my buddy Steven and his family showed up too!
Last weekend Chris and I went to the volunteer appreciation breakfast at the Discovery where we were fed and told how awesome the volunteers are:) After breakfast we were allowed to play so of course we did and Chris took full advantage, especially cause it was his first time there.

Also, I finished my last paper yesterday!!!! Yaaaaaaaay!!!!!!! I'm done with school and it feels awesome! We won't be going to graduation cause a two day trip to Oklahoma seemed ridiculous, as did the price tag, so my sister is throwing me a party on Saturday! So excited!
