This past week Evey's been out and about a couple days, not that she's never done that before, but she did so well while we were out! I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that she is just days away from turning three months; bye bye fourth trimester!
We went to Sizzler with buddies on Thursday, although we were originally going to meet up at In N Out and go to the Farmer's Market afterwards, darn Hot August Nights!
And then we went to Yogurt Beach the following day, not the most exciting, I know, but the point I'm trying to get across is that she was so good! We got to enjoy our yogurt while holding and playing with our kid, all at the yogurt place, it's amazing!
And last night we went to a wedding! No we didn't stay the whole time, but three hours isn't bad! It was very lovely, out in Galena Creek, and although she was fussy due to being tired before the ceremony, she conked out during the ceremony and was just fine during the reception.
It's definitely nice to be able to be out more often/for longer periods of time and not have to worry. I do miss the tiny Evey days, in fact I was just looking at her early photos this week, but I have to say that I love how much more expressive and interactive she is. I want her to grab everything and put things in her mouth, and I'm sure that I will soon be telling her not to touch some things and will be digging things out of her mouth, but for now, I can't wait for those next milestones!
